Q: I ask for your thoughts on equanimity please.

I feel it is more tangible than the simple definition we find here on Earth, yet closer perhaps to the Buddhist interpretation?

A: Equanimity may be understood as a greater goal of achievement upon the path of a seeker of Truth. It is a state of being, a state of achievement rarely reached successfully here on your Earth by human souls. Yet it is one that will be achieved as it is a direct result of Knowing Creator, knowing LOVE.

It is indeed helpful to contemplate and meditate upon it as an aspiration of all souls. For as you sit quietly, listen and reach to experience its expression both around and within you. For it is everywhere, as Love is, and you may begin the journey of seeking to attain it within your soul's skill set. Such moments of enlightened intimacy with it are, as we say, rare in 3rd density. Yet you may seek to sense its glorious wholeness of absolute peace it bestows upon you and within one who touches it, if only for an instant, or who basks in the warmth that emanates from its proximity.

It is, in effect, the steady eternal state of absolute balance of Love imbued Wisdom and Grace. The state achieved fully and completely within the realm of Unity, the greater realisation of our place within Creator's Truth. That which you term 'Home'.

Its gifts may be sensed through and within the stillness of meditation. To learn the art of such stillness is not an easy task for the busy chattering minds of humans. Yet it can be achieved, if but for an instant, this may be enough for one to feel not just the quality of equanimity but the full spectrum of Creator's Love that it rests in. That which is not yet fully Known or held Eternal within our heart (consciousness) but that to which we, as all creation does, do strive to Unite with.

To be able to reach and maintain the stillness within required to hear Creator's Voice, that 'still small voice of calm', does take dedication and patience. No moment of meditation, whether successful by your measure or not, is ever wasted. For the mere intent or desire to give such time to our Creator is precious enough to advance your soul growth closer toward the Love you seek and the equanimity it brings to you.

Practice it, for practice makes perfect and we have Eternity to do so. Every thought of Love, every moment of giving of that Love, in every way that is helpful, counts. For Love begets Love and is grown 'tenfold' (exponentially) with every thought of it. As you 'learn' of equanimity through your skilful choices within your busy world of confused and conflicted thoughts and opinions, such confusion matters less for you will have touched the very truth of Love (that is) the unconditionality of Creator's Love. For Love knows of nothing else but Itself, and as your soul grows so great as to be absorbed into the Universal Self/Consciousness, you will come to know this and you will only see Creator's Love in all things through the eyes of Equanimity. For that is what its true state brings.

Here in your world this state may be learned to be applied to all circumstance or situation presenting itself to you. In general such states involve others and your interaction with them. It is helpful to understand you really know very little, or nothing, about other souls sharing your world, even those of your family. For you cannot begin to know what they know or how they experience this world with all the trials and tribulations of being human. We are not suggesting that there is no love or joy also, for there is much here to be enjoyed. Yet if you take a good and honest look, you will see moments of pleasure are always interspersed with problematic relations with others. It is here that your opportunity for practice lies. Remind yourself you know nothing of others, but focus upon that which you do know, your desire to Love and be Loved (in short) and make your own work be toward that.

For to give only Love in the face of other's fear or rage, is to be greater than the fear itself. It is this that will call forth your desire to know of equanimity more intimately in your life and (in) your service to Creator/creation.

In Truth we are One in true Equanimity with you.
